Yes, all art comes from Indigenous knowledge and/or is 100% unique creation of an Indigenous artist. We follow cultural protocols to the best of our knowledge and are continually learning.
If you would like to use the art for any purpose other than purchasing from our website, reach out and we can come to an agreement. Please note that all designs are copyrighted and not available for general public use without permission.
The products are all shipped through a third party. This means we can’t help with issues like ordering the wrong size or colour or changing your mind.
However, if you receive a damaged product or there’s a manufacturing error, please let us know right away because we only have 30 days to request a replacement/refund. Send us a message using the Contact form, and please include photos that clearly show the problem.
Aanji's store is a print-on-demand service, which means that all products are unique and produced only once ordered. This also means that returns and exchanges are not supported if you order the wrong size, color, or simply change your mind.
However, in case of a damaged product or a manufacturing error, Aanji offers a free replacement or a refund if you contact us within 30 days of product delivery. Please get in touch with our team at store@aanji.ca with your contact and order details, and we will provide you with directions on how to send us a clear photo showing the issue.
Please note that Aanji will not be held responsible and will not offer replacements or refunds if you order the wrong size or color. In case of an unsuccessful delivery, a partial refund will be issued. For direct-to-garment products, there is a tolerance of 0.5" for print placement, meaning that minor variations in the placement of the print will not be considered as defects.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Once your return request is received and processed, we will send you an email to notify you. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 15 days.
Do not ship your products for return, unless specifically instructed to do so by our support team.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
