The Fungus Kingdom is ancient. Their ecosystem is vast, and they communicate with their mycelium network (roots) underground. The most fascinating thing about mushrooms is they connect with other plant root systems, and, like the world wide web, their root network transfers water, nitrogen, carbon, and other plant food to each other and even to plants in an entirely different kingdom! We can lean a lot about helping each other out from he fungus.Did you know the mushroom itself is the fruit of the fungus? Many of them are delicious and nutritious but be careful for the poisonous ones.
